The assessment begins with an interview with the clients and if they are under 18, the parents, in order to have full background history. With that, I am then able to determine the measures necessary to administer, in order to fully understand the client's obstacles, strengths, and goals. With these goals established, the assessment is thereby customized to fulfill that individual's particular needs and objectives.

After two to three testing sessions, between a total of four and seven hours depending on the situation, I score all the material, and then begin to write the report. If the client is a child or adolescent, there are usually two versions of the report; one including emotional functioning, and one without (for privacy and as the schools generally need only the cognitive information).
